Women’s Vocal Ensemble/Concert Choir Grade:   9   10    11    12

Prerequisite: A desire to sing                         Credit: 1

Women’s ensemble is an all-female singing group that performs all styles of choral repertoire, including pop, jazz, folk, music theatre and classical styles.  In addition to singing music for female voices, this group will often combine with the Men’s Choir to make a mixed concert choir at many performances. Class work focuses on the fundamentals of music theory, voice production and performance technique.  The group performs 4 concerts per year, and will represent EHS at the Southwest District Festival.  Students must plan to schedule this A/B rotator class for the full year (fall and spring semesters).
