NCAA Application Process

Juniors and seniors who plan to participate in Division I or Division II athletics in college must meet NCAA course requirements and total academic unit requirements. Seniors, in particular, should check the NCAA course listing for acceptable titles and to be sure you have the minimum hours of academic coursework, including what you take as a senior. See your counselor as soon as possible if you have not reviewed this yet, or if you are not sure you have the proper courses to qualify. All NCAA applicants must complete the application process on-line (click on NCAA link above).  The guidance counselors at Evanston High School are available to give advice and to assist student-athletes in the planning process; however, the responsibility to meet the NCAA Clearinghouse requirements for initial eligibility rests with the student-athlete and his/her parent(s)/guardian(s).
